Women’s Teams

The Calgary Hornets RFC are proud to run two competitive women’s teams.  The Prem team competes in the Alberta Women’s Premier Division, and the SW1 team competes in the Senior Women’s First Division.  No matter your experience level, ability or age, we will welcome you with open arms and look forward to either showing you the ropes or learning from the experience and skill set you bring to the pitch.

In 2016, the Hornets Women had an outstanding season.

The Prem team finished the regular season with a 12-0 record.  They defeated the 2015 defending champs in the provincial final to regain the Provincial Championship Title for the first time in three years.

The SW1 team finished their regular season with a 10-2 record.  They advanced to the city finals where they competed in an extremely competitive match resulting in a triple overtime win, claiming the City Championship Title.

We are looking forward to another fun and successful season in 2017.  If you want to train with us, contact the VP Women’s or come out to one of our upcoming sessions!
